We plan to field as many teams as possible each year, but we are limited by the number of volunteer coaches, the number of players who sign up as well as the Pop Warner administrative deadlines required to certify each team. Once we reach our maximum capacity for each level of play, we are regrettably forced to create waiting lists or perhaps even turn players away.
To successfully register for football, parents must complete the steps below. Please pay attention to the specific instructions for each step. Your child will not be allowed to participate in our program until registration is 100% correct and complete. Coaches will coordinate the collection of the forms. Getting all the forms submitted with the correct information can mean the difference between getting your child successfully registered and being disqualified from participating altogether.
Please follow these instructions carefully!
Step 1 - Registration (Monday May 15 - Friday July 7)
Register on-line via SPYA website (click on Football page, log-in, then register)
Step 2 - Paperwork (Immediately After Registration Though July 15)
Parents and players will be contacted by coaches beginning July 7 with information on practice days/locations, and the final steps to complete registration. There are four critical areas of registration that we are required to collect in paper form. Immediately after your register through July 15, parents are required to submit all of the following documents in order for their player to be eligible. Your coach will provide information on where and how he/she will collect these documents. As a reminder, we must have all of these forms completed correectly, submitted and REVIEWED by our staff in order for the player to begin practicing on August 1.
